Alliant Metals, Inc. provides stainless steel angles of equal and unequal lengths for a variety of structural applications. Our angle products are ideal for various types of fabrication projects that require high strength, resistance to corrosion, sterility, as well as aesthetic finishes.
Why Choose Stainless Steel Angles from Alliant Metals
At Alliant Metals, we offer steel angles in four different metal grades – 304, 304L, 316, 316L, carbon and aluminum grades as well. The “L” grades comprise a maximum of 0.3 carbon composition, which makes them an excellent choice for applications involving welding. The straight grades have a mid-level range of carbon, making them practical choices for large weldments. We provide steel angles in a variety of sizes to meet our customer’s needs. Our size range starts at 3/4″ x 3/4″ x 1/8″ and can be increased up to 8″ x 8″ x 1/2″. We can cut the angles down to the size you require. Typically angles come in 20 feet random lengths.
We are able to accomplish cutting and sizing of the angle with our varied high-tech cutting equipment. Our capabilities include:
- Saw cutting equipment with diameter sizes ranging from 12′ to 16′
- Waterjet cutter with 6′ x 12′ table
- Centerless Grinding equipment creating sizes up to 6′ in diameter
- Plasma Cutter with cutting capabilities up to 6″ thickness
If you require more specialized services, we work with outside contractors who provide services such as heat treating, laser cutting, forming and bending.
Customers can choose from various types of stainless steel angles for their applications which all come as a hot rolled finish. We also provide in-house polishing services to meet the aesthetic needs of our client’s applications. Our polishing surfaces are designed to provide a smooth surface finish, and reduce the friction coefficient. The stainless steel finishes comprise 2B mill finish, #4 satin, and #8 mirror finish. We can polish the outside legs of angle to the finishes mentioned.
